Probably against our will, September has already come. And we all know what that means: come back to work or to college. Come back to boring classes, alarms, schedule, meetings, business cards, reports, rush and stress. However, it doesn’t have to be a nightmare if we know how to handle it. Thanks to our Android, September will never be such tough. It provides us with some tools to face our day-to-day.

Throughout this week we’re going to propose you some app discoveries that will help you to organize whether your work or college life. Let’s zoom in them!

Alarm Clock Plus

Routine comeback starts from the beginning: the alarm ringing. We all know that after three days you start to detest the alarm tone. What’s more, sometimes we forget to set it before going to sleep. Alarm Clock Plus is a great choice to avoid these situations. It allows you to set as many alarms as you need and choose the days you want it to ring. There’s also a nap alarm in which you choose how long you want to be taking a nap (in minutes). You can choose a ringtone, mp3 songs or launching an app as alarm tone. You can also set the way you want it ringing: ascendant, loud, soft, etc. You can set the times you want to repeat the alarm and the period, and many other options like hour bell, screen saver, weather info, widgets, white noise. After waking up and having breakfast, next thing you have to do is checking your schedule. If it’s properly organized, facing the day will be way easier. Best way to see at a glance your schedule is placing a screen widget on your Android. This Agenda Widget has lots of different size widget (up to 15) that integrates Gmail calendar, Gtasks, Astrid and many other data resources. This way you will be always aware of the events you have to attend. Its strongest point is that it’s highly configurable regarding appearance: design it at your whim. Coming back to work also means start to fill your wallet of tenths of business card. It’s time to solve this situation by putting some order on it. Your Android and CamCard will help you on such issue. CamCard Lite captures business card images by using your phone back camera as a scanner. It catches first names, last name, phone, e-mail, address and other extra info and put it into form labels. By this way you will be able to turn a physical business card into a vcard. Once you’ve caught all the data, confirm that everything is in its label and save it You will be able then to save the contact to your phonebook or to the app database, save it to your Gmail account or share it by SMS or other means. It also scans the image of the business card if it has one. It’s quite accurate and it even lets you generating and reading QR Codes for contact’s content.
